Governor, Basuki “Ahok” T. Purnama asserted zero tolerance against unfeasible public transport in this case is Metromini. Unfortunately that his side has no any authority to destroy public transport that been grounded.

Zero tolerance for all metromini

As known, Jakarta Transportation Department (Dishubtrans) has revoked route permits against 1,600 buses. “Zero tolerance for all metromini,” he said at City Hall, Monday (12/7).

Ahok continued that his side will keep cracking down against unfeasible fleet. “The problem is I can’t throw them away,” he expressed.

In addition that his side is ready in facing lawsuit that been sued against metromini owner in PTUN (State Administrative Court) regarding the route permits revocation. However, he noticed as much as 3,000 unfeasible buses remain operate in Capital.

Furthermore, he also questioned the Land Transportation Owners (Organda) role in controlling public transport in capital. “We’ve netted 1,600 buses by the way, yet I still wonder Organda role,” he closed.
